Job summary

Seek is recruiting Civil Plant Operators to operate GPS-equipped machinery across bulk earthworks, including haul roads and hard stands. You will join an experienced civil construction team on a Rockhampton/Gladstone regional project, with a 6 days on, 1 day off roster and weekend camp options for locals.

Applicants should have GPS experience, a valid licence, willingness to work remote conditions, and a strong health & safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience using GPS on machinery.
• Valid driver's licence required.
• Happy to work in remote conditions.
• Health & safety focused mindset.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment fitness test.
• Able to pass a drug & alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate GPS-equipped machinery on bulk earthworks and construct haul roads & hard stands.
• Work as part of an experienced civil construction team.
• Follow site safety rules and maintain high workplace standards.
• Assist with other duties as required on the project.

• Operating GPS-equipped machinery on large-scale bulk earthworks, constructing haul roads & hard stands.
• Working within an experienced civil construction team.
• 6 days on, 1 day off - MONDAY TO SATURDAY (SUNDAY OFF) - local operators
• may be available dependent on experience and skill level!
• Accomdation provided
• If local to Rockhampton or Gladstone, stay at camp and check out each weekend!
