Job summary

Bundaberg Regional Council is seeking two Labourers to join the Civil Maintenance Team at the Kalkie Depot in the Bundaberg Region. You will perform general labouring and maintenance tasks such as patching, concreting and bitumen works, and operate tools and machinery under supervision.

Applicants should hold a C Class Driver's Licence (MR/HR an advantage), a White Card, and ideally have Working in Proximity to Traffic Part 1 & 2 qualifications. Police check and medicals may apply.

Qualifications

• Current 'C' Class Driver's Licence; MR/HR licence would be an advantage.
• Working in Proximity to Traffic Parts 1 & 2 qualification or ability to obtain.
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• RII tickets to operate machinery would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Undertake general labouring and maintenance duties including patching, concreting, bitumen works, etc.
• Operate tools, equipment and mechanical plant under supervision.
