The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on maintenance duties, including repairs to footpaths, kerbs, drainage infrastructure, and traffic signage.

Qualifications

• Physical capability to perform manual tasks safely.
• Recent experience in a manual or labour-intensive role.
• Experience working on civil infrastructure.
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pathway and footpath repairs and replacements, including concrete areas.
• Repair kerbs, channels, and stormwater structures as needed.
• Replace and maintain manholes, covers, pits and catch pits.
• Undertake stormwater network maintenance (pipes, headwalls, open drains).
• Install, repair and replace road signs and address defects on traffic islands.
