Minecon Recruitment is placing skilled workers for a major civil infrastructure project in Heathwood, QLD. We are seeking experienced Civil Labourers and Roller Operators for both day and night shifts, with stable hours and strong earning potential.

Formación

• Tickets & Licences: White Card (General Construction Induction), RIIMPO317F Roller Ticket, and a current Driver’s Licence with reliable transport to Heathwood.
• Experience: Proven track record operating rollers on civil construction, earthworks, or roadwork projects.
• Safety Mindset: Strong WHS focus and zero-harm on site.

Responsabilidades

• Operating soil, padfoot, and smooth drum rollers for bulk earthworks, pavement construction, and compaction.
• Supporting asphalt preparation, subgrade compaction, and road/highway rehabilitation.
• Daily pre-start equipment checks and basic maintenance reporting.
• Working around live traffic, trenching works, and alongside heavy plant.
• Assisting with ground civil duties and spotting when required to support the crew.

What’s on Offer

• Top Pay Rates: Above-award hourly rates + daily meal and travel allowances.

• Shifts Available:

  • Day Shift: Consistent daytime hours with daily overtime penalties kicking in after 7.6 hours.

  • Night Shift: Sunday to Thursday nights with night shift rates included, working 10+ hour shifts.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

Operating across active civil infrastructure site environments, your daily responsibilities will include:

What You Need to Succeed

• Tickets & Licences: White Card (General Construction Induction),Roller Position Valid RII Roller Ticket (RIIMPO317F), and a current Driver’s Licence with reliable personal transport to Heathwood.

• Experience: Proven track record operating rollers on civil construction, earthworks, or roadwork projects.

• Safety Mindset: A strong commitment to Work Health & Safety (WHS), site team culture, and zero-harm practices.
