Job summary

Spiire Warrnambool is seeking an Engineering Officer or Civil Engineer to deliver civil infrastructure and land development work. You will work with our Warrnambool lead and Geelong team, moving projects from drawings to on-site delivery, with opportunities to broaden your skills over time.

You’ll bring practical civil infrastructure experience, at least two years, and a collaborative mindset. You’ll work across design and construction with engineers, designers, surveyors and construction

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in civil infrastructure design or construction with practical experience.
• Experience in civil design, drafting, construction supervision or contract administration.
• Strong ability to read and interpret civil drawings and documentation.
• Clear communication and ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and clients.
• Practical problem-solving skills and independent work approach.
• Ability to organise work and manage commitments with some independence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to civil infrastructure design, drafting and documentation.
• Support construction supervision and site inspections as projects move to delivery.
• Assist with contract administration and maintain clear project records.
• Coordinate inputs with contractors, consultants and authorities.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, surveyors and construction consultants.
• Take ownership of tasks and manage priorities while seeking technical advice as needed.
