Job summary

Spiire is seeking an Engineering Officer or Civil Engineer to deliver civil infrastructure and land development work in Warrnambool, with support from the Geelong team. You will contribute from design through delivery, collaborating with a broad team and taking on progressively responsible tasks.

We value practical civil infrastructure experience, the ability to work across both design and construction, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in civil infrastructure design or construction.
• Experience reading and interpreting civil drawings and documentation.
• AutoCAD skills and the ability to read civil drawings.
• Experience in civil design, drafting and supervision or contract administration.
• Desire to work across design and construction with practical problem-solving.
• Willingness to learn and work independently when needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to civil infrastructure design, drafting and documentation.
• Support construction supervision and site inspections during delivery.
• Assist with contract administration and maintain project/site records.
• Coordinate inputs with contractors, consultants and authorities.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, surveyors and construction consultants.
• Take responsibility for tasks, manage priorities and seek technical input as needed.
• Help expand Spiire's presence in Warrnambool.
