Job summary

Amey Australia is seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our Rockhampton team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects. You will be involved from concept through delivery, working with senior engineers and management to plan, design, document, and deliver outcomes.

In this role you will design civil schemes, prepare reports, support approvals, and coordinate with clients and stakeholders while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Experience working as a Civil Engineer within a consulting environment.
• Strong civil design capability and technical understanding.
• Proficiency using AutoCAD and 12d.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet project deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confidence working with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Preparing civil engineering designs, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Developing engineering reports and construction documentation.
• Assisting with development applications and approvals.
• Supporting project management and coordination activities.
• Liaising with clients, councils, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Monitoring project progress and assisting with issue resolution.
• Managing multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
• Contributing across projects from initial concept through to completion.
