Job summary

Palermo Perfumes is seeking a Christmas Casual Retail Assistant to help customers find fragrances and create gift-ready experiences during the festive season. You’ll greet customers, advise on scents, and contribute to a lively, high-energy store atmosphere.

You will handle transactions at the till, maintain appealing merchandising, and work with the team to deliver an exceptional customer journey during peak shopping periods.

Qualifications

• Experience as a retail assistant, sales assistant or in customer service.
• A genuine love of people and a natural ability to build rapport with customers.
• A sales-driven mindset, with the confidence to recommend and upsell.
• A can-do, positive attitude toward every part of the role, from the shop floor to the stockroom.
• An eye for detail and pride in keeping the store beautifully presented and well stocked.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with high customer traffic and large stock volumes.
• A polished, professional presentation that suits Palermo's sleek, signature black look.
• Flexible availability from November 2026 to January 2027, including weekends, public holidays and extended trading hours
