Job summary

Australian Christian College Group is seeking a Secondary Learning Support Coordinator (Full‑Time) to lead and oversee the Learning Support Team at ACC Marsden Park. You will develop Individualised Learning Plans and coordinate specialist input to support students with diverse needs.

You will conduct assessments, collaborate with teachers, communicate with families, and oversee provisions and data reviews to improve student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Christian faith is required.
• Qualified teacher with NESA accreditation (or eligible).
• Knowledge of Learning Support and/or Special Provisions is desirable.
• Ability to improve student learning and wellbeing outcomes.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching per Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
• Ability to receive feedback and implement changes.
• Ability to plan, collect and analyse educational data, then devise appropriate strategies.
• Current Employee Working With Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and review Individualised Learning Plans for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring personalised support to promote academic success.
• Conduct regular assessments, including diagnostic and standardised testing, to monitor student progress.
• Work with classroom teachers and support staff to implement tailored educational strategies and inclusive practices.
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians and external specialists to support student wellbeing.
• Provide direct learning support across Secondary grades and address academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Engage in ongoing professional development in special education and enrichment strategies.
• Assist students in developing positive behaviours, self-regulation, and emotional resilience.
• Organise and oversee Special Provisions for examinations.
• Assist in managing the Nationally Consistent Collection Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD).
