Job summary

Peabody is seeking an experienced Prep Plant Manager for Centurion Mine, located near Moranbah, Queensland. You will lead the CHPP refurbishment and upgrade to support underground production, drive reliability, safety and continuous improvement across the plant and related support functions.

You will lead a site leadership team, manage change, align with safety standards and regulatory requirements, and shape the performance of a long-life, high-growth operation in a dynamic mining environment.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive operational and leadership experience in CHPP environments.
• Strong planning and reporting capabilities.
• Experience applying continuous improvement methodologies to plant performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong safety leadership and regulatory compliance focus.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to the CHPP Superintendent, Coordinators and contractor workforce.
• Develop and maintain robust planning and scheduling processes for safe, efficient plant performance.
• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement of the site's MMP.
• Drive operational excellence through performance monitoring and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with the SHMP and statutory obligations.
• Collaborate with site stakeholders to develop inspection, maintenance and SOPs.
• Foster a strong safety culture through risk management, audits and proactive leadership.
