Anglo American Steelmaking Coal is seeking an experienced CHPP Electrical Coordinator to join the Moranbah North Mine. You will coordinate electrical maintenance across the CHPP, lead electrical personnel and contractors, and ensure work is safely planned and executed to meet site requirements.

This senior role balances breakdown support with planned maintenance, focusing on plant reliability, safety, and continuous improvement within a demanding mining environment.

Qualifications

• A recognised electrical trade qualification and current Queensland electrical licence.
• Demonstrated electrical maintenance experience within CHPP or heavy industrial environments.
• Experience coordinating electrical trades, contractors and daily maintenance activities.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate electrical maintenance activities across the CHPP and infrastructure.
• Provide day-to-day leadership and technical support to electrical personnel and contractors.
• Ensure electrical work is planned, risk assessed and completed safely.
• Support breakdown response and return of equipment to service.
• Work with planning and operations to prioritise maintenance and minimise production impact.
• Coordinate isolations, commissioning activities and plant modifications.
• Monitor defects and maintenance performance.
• Support statutory inspections and electrical compliance.
• Maintain accurate electrical documentation and authorisations.
• Contribute to reliability improvements and safety culture.
