Job summary

Centurion Mine, part of Peabody Energy, invites an experienced Prep Plant Manager to lead refurbishment and upgrade of the CHPP and related support functions. You will drive reliability, efficiency, safety performance and continuous improvement in a newly revitalised underground operation.

Reporting to the site leadership, you will shape long-term plant strategy, manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards while delivering production targets on a

Qualifications

Extensive CHPP leadership experience in a mining environment.
Experience leading multidisciplinary operational and maintenance teams.
Experience with CHPP upgrades, plant modifications or commissioning projects.
Strong planning and reporting capabilities.
Proven ability to apply continuous improvement to plant performance.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership to the CHPP Superintendent and teams.
Develop and maintain planning and scheduling processes for safe, efficient plant performance.
Oversee Maintenance Management Plan implementation and continuous improvement.
Drive operational excellence with performance monitoring and reporting.
Ensure SHMP compliance and regulatory obligations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define inspections and SOPs.
Foster safety culture through risk management and audits.
