Job summary

Peabody Energy is seeking a day-shift CHPP Electrician for the Wilpinjong Mine, 50km NE of Mudgee. You will maintain fixed plant equipment used to prepare coal for transport and export, reporting to the CHPP Electrical Supervisor. Relocation assistance and strong safety focus are offered.

Requirements include NSW Electrical Supervisors' licence or equivalent and experience in fixed-plant maintenance. Join a team committed to safety, environment, and continuous improvement.

• Experience from a fixed plant maintenance background in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, maintain and modify electrical equipment under CHPP supervision.
• Maintain equipment records for tests, maintenance, modifications and repairs.
• Follow procedures for test, maintenance and installation; assist in procedure development.
• Recommend improvements to CHPP Electrical Supervisor via continuous improvement.
• Comply with safety rules and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts inventory.
• Keep work areas clean, hazard-free and organized.
• Read manuals, complete paperwork, and perform basic algebra as required.
• Work without close supervision.
