Job summary

Peabody is seeking a day shift CHPP Electrician to join the Wilpinjong Mine team in Queensland. You will maintain fixed plant equipment used to prepare coal for transport to domestic and export terminals, reporting to the CHPP Electrical Supervisor.

Required NSW Electrical supervisors' licence or equivalent and fixed plant maintenance experience. Relocation assistance and safety-focused work culture will support your move to Queensland.

• Relevant experience from a fixed plant maintenance background in a similar industry.

Responsibilities

• Inspection, repair, maintenance and approved modifications of electrical equipment.
• Maintain equipment records and documentation.
• Follow test, maintenance and installation procedures.
• Recommend improvements to the CHPP Electrical Supervisor.
• Comply with safety rules and company policies.
• Assist in maintaining spare parts and clean work areas.
• Read manuals and prints; perform paperwork; basic algebra.
