Job summary
Anglo American Moranbah North Mine is seeking an experienced CHPP Electrical Coordinator to lead electrical maintenance across the CHPP and associated infrastructure. You will work with operations, maintenance, planning and contractors to ensure safe, efficient delivery and compliance with site requirements.
You will balance day-to-day breakdown support with planned maintenance and longer-term plant reliability, guiding electrical teams and ensuring high safety standards while achieving
Qualifications
- Electrical trade qualification with current licence.
- Demonstrated maintenance experience in CHPP or heavy industry.
- Experience coordinating electrical trades, contractors and daily maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety, isolation and permit-to-work requirements.
- Experience with fault finding and planned maintenance.
- Exposure to PLC controlled plant and instrumentation.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate electrical maintenance across CHPP and related infrastructure.
- Provide leadership and technical support to electrical personnel and contractors.
- Ensure work is planned, risk assessed and completed safely.
- Support breakdown response and return of equipment to service.
- Prioritise maintenance with planning and operations to minimise production impact.
- Coordinate isolations, commissioning and plant modifications.
- Monitor defects, recurring failures and maintenance performance.
- Assist with electrical compliance and audits.
- Maintain electrical documentation and authorisations.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability strategies.
- Promote strong safety culture under operational pressure.
