Job summary

Glencore is seeking an experienced CHPP Boilermaker at Oaky Creek Coal, Tieri, QLD. The role reports to the CHPP Senior Maintenance Engineer and focuses on mechanical maintenance to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.

Responsibilities include planned and breakdown maintenance, fabrication, and routine servicing in a CHPP environment. Required: Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification, Standard 11 or ability to obtain, strong problem-solving, safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• CHPP maintenance experience
• Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification
• Current Standard 11 (Surface) or the ability to obtain
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical maintenance support to the CHPP to ensure safe and reliable plant operation.
• Perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on CHPP equipment.
• Conduct fabrication, remediation and repair work across the CHPP.
• Complete routine inspections and mechanical servicing activities.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship while complying with site procedures and statutory requirements.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and actively promoting safe work practices.
