Job summary

Glencore is seeking an experienced CHPP Boilermaker to join the maintenance team at Oaky Creek Coal, Tieri, Queensland. You will provide mechanical maintenance support, perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance, and conduct fabrication and repair work across CHPP equipment.

The role requires an Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification, Safe Work practices, and current Standard 11 (Surface) or ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• Required experience in CHPP maintenance environment.
• Australian-recognised Boilermaker trade qualification required.
• Current Standard 11 (Surface) or ability to obtain.
• Strong fault-finding and decision-making skills.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical maintenance support to CHPP to ensure safe, reliable plant operation.
• Perform planned, preventative and breakdown maintenance on CHPP equipment.
• Conduct fabrication, remediation, and repair work across the CHPP.
• Complete routine inspections and mechanical servicing activities.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and comply with site procedures and regulations.
• Promote a positive team environment and safe work practices.
