Job summary

Johnson Controls Australia is seeking an experienced Chiller Technician to join our Service Team and support growth. You will respond to breakdowns, perform preventive maintenance, and commission chillers on customer sites.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in HVAC or industrial cooling, strong repair and troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read schematics and produce clear reports. A valid driver’s license and ability to pass medical checks are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a technician in HVAC or industrial cooling.
• Strong background in maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Mechanical and/or electrical expertise within HVAC.
• Ability to read schematics and produce clear reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to system breakdowns and perform scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Commission Chillers/HVAC equipment on customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Overhaul and fault-find across reciprocating, screw, and centrifugal systems.
• Document and report equipment results accurately.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Provide training and operational advice to customers.

About the Role
