Job summary

As a Childcare Trainee, you’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced educators, caring for and supporting children aged 0-5. You’ll learn practical skills in early childhood education, child development, and program delivery while completing a nationally recognised traineeship. This is a role where you’ll receive guidance and mentorship, not just be part of a team.

Some of Your Duties Will Include:

• Supporting educators in daily childcare programs
• Assisting with child observations and documentation, including eating and sleeping charts, parent communications, and photography
• Helping prepare and implement engaging lessons and activities
• Assisting with enrollment paperwork as needed
• Floating between rooms as your skills grow, gaining experience across different age groups
• Participating in training and professional development sessions
• Following Workplace Health & Safety procedures
