Job summary

Liverpool City Council's Children's Services team in the Community and Lifestyle portfolio is hiring a permanent full-time team member to support daily operations of the childcare centre. You will work with centre staff to deliver a safe, stimulating, educational environment for children and families.

Applicants should hold a Certificate III in Children's Services, a current First Aid certificate and NSW Working with Children clearance.

Qualifications

• Assisting all centre staff to implement programmes and childcare service
• Complying with regulatory requirements and standards
• Maintaining the centre's educational philosophy and Council policies
• WWC check compliance and current First Aid certificate

Responsibilities

• Assist centre employees in program delivery
• Contribute to a safe, stimulating, educational environment for children
• Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development
• Support confidentiality and professional conduct at all times
• Carry out duties as directed by the Nominated Supervisor or Centre Director
