Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in child care or early childhood or a closely related discipline.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in child care, preschool teaching or a comparable educational environment. Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate educational programs for young children.
• Experience observing, documenting and evaluating children's learning and developmental progress.

Qualification & experience

Essential Skills

Strong knowledge and practical understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS). Sound knowledge of early childhood development, learning theories and age-appropriate teaching practices.

Ability to develop and implement engaging educational programs based on children's developmental needs, interests and abilities. Strong observation, assessment and documentation skills. Proven leadership, supervision and mentoring capabilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish positive relationships with children, families and colleagues. Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.

Strong organisational and time-management capabilities. A professional, positive and child-focused approach to early childhood education. A genuine commitment to creating meaningful, inclusive and engaging learning experiences for children.
