Job summary

CatholicCare is seeking a passionate Child Care Educator to join our Outside School Hours Care team in Asquith on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll help create fun, safe and inspiring spaces for children, plan and deliver engaging programs, and step into the Responsible Person role when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young or school-aged children.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm training completed for the Responsible Person role.
• Cert III in Children’s Services/OSHC (or studying towards).

Responsibilities

• Bring the My Time, Our Place Framework to life for school-aged children.
• Take on the Responsible Person role when required.
• Help plan, implement, and evaluate engaging programs.
• Create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment that meets all regulatory standards.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and your team.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working with young or school-aged children.
• Cert III in Children’s Services/OSHC (or working towards) is a bonus, but not essential.
• A current Working With Children Check.
• Completion of ‘Identify and Respond to Children and Young People at Risk of Harm’ for the Responsible Person role.
