Job summary

Skip Loans Pty Ltd is seeking a senior risk, compliance and governance leader to take the established framework to the next level of maturity. You will own regulatory compliance, enterprise risk, privacy obligations and second-line assurance, with a direct line to the COO and board risk committee.

Qualifications

• 8+ years across risk, compliance or financial services regulation in a credit license environment.
• Knowledge of NCCP Act, National Credit Code, ASIC guides, AML/CTF Act and the Privacy Act for credit providers.
• Experience in a business of around 150 staff.
• Experience identifying, assessing and monitoring operational risks and controls.
• Strong commercial judgement.
• Collaborative, pragmatic style across frontline, sales and product.
• Excellent written communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and deepen the compliance obligations register.
• Own the enterprise risk register and remediation tracking.
• Own Skip’s risk appetite statement and ensure decisions stay inside it.
• Design and run a rolling compliance monitoring and testing plan.
• Own the compliance calendar and the policy suite.
