Job summary

Skip is seeking a seasoned risk, compliance and financial services regulation leader in Australia. You will own and mature the regulatory framework, enabling growth while ensuring governance, reporting and oversight across NCCP, privacy and AML/CTF obligations.

Reporting to the COO with direct access to the Board Risk Committee, you will shape policy, drive automated monitoring, and lead external counsel relationships. A defined CRO pathway may emerge as the business scales.

Qualifications

• 8+ years across risk, compliance or financial services regulation.
• Experience owning a compliance and risk framework.
• Knowledge of NCCP Act, National Credit Code, ASIC guides, AML/CTF, Privacy Act and CDR.
• Experience in a mid-size to bank-scale financial services environment.
• Strong written communication and board-level reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own and uplift the compliance framework across regulatory obligations.
• Design rolling monitoring, testing plans across origination, servicing, collections.
• Manage risk appetite and decision boundaries with the business.
• Oversee incident, breach and resilience programs.
• Coordinate with external counsel and manage contracting around regulatory framework.
