Job summary

Xemplo in Sydney seeks a Head of Payroll Delivery to serve as the senior technical authority for managed payroll. You will guide the payroll team, resolve complex matters, enforce controls and drive quality across payroll delivery.

Collaborating with the Head of Payroll Operations & Transformation, you will shape the operating model, ensure regulatory compliance, and build team capability to manage increasingly complex payroll requirements. You will own payroll quality and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experienced payroll professional with strong technical knowledge and a track record of delivering complex payroll accurately and reliably.
• Ability to provide day-to-day technical guidance to payroll teams and resolve escalations.
• Clear communication with customers, colleagues and senior stakeholders on payroll matters.
• Ownership of payroll quality, controls and process improvements across the function.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to the payroll team and senior escalation support.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity and compliance of payroll processing.
• Lead complex payroll matters and interpretations with customers and internal teams.
• Contribute to improvements in processes, controls and automation across payroll.
• Support onboarding of new customers into managed payroll.
