Job summary

Xemplo is building a technology-led payroll business across Australia and New Zealand, connecting payroll with HR, onboarding, compliance and the broader Xemplo platform. We are seeking a senior operational leader to scale our managed payroll function across ANZ.

Qualifications

• Seasoned operational leader capable of structuring a complex service environment.
• Experience in payroll, managed services, shared services, or transaction-intensive settings is preferred.
• Ability to leverage data to improve performance and decision making.
• Proven track record in redesigning processes and driving automation.

Responsibilities

• Establish a clear, scalable ANZ payroll operating model.
• Improve team structure, capacity planning, resourcing, and accountability.
• Set service measures, controls and performance visibility.
• Drive process improvement, standardisation and automation.
• Improve customer onboarding and transition to managed payroll.
• Partner with Product and Technology to reduce friction and boost automation.
• Provide leadership visibility on performance, capacity, and investment priorities.
