Job summary

Acrux Search Pty Ltd is partnering with Due South Albany to invite applications from an experienced Chef/Cook to join a waterfront hospitality team in Albany, WA. We require a minimum of 2 years' cooking experience and a Cert III or higher, with willingness to relocate to Albany 6330.

Join a busy venue with Monday to Friday shifts and weekend availability. You will assist the Head Chef, plan meals, enforce hygiene, prepare and portion meals, and help maintain a clean, safe kitchen while

Duties may include but are not limited to:

Assist the Head Chef

• during service
  
• with planning meals
  
• enforcing hygiene regulations
  
• Prepare, cook and portion meals
  
• Monitor quality of dishes at all stages of preparation
  
• Prepare and make entree's
  
• Maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen and storage areas
  
• Running Services
  
• Delegation of duties to staff in your section
  
• Work with the kitchen staff to ensure the smooth running of the kitchen as a team
  

Requirements

• Experience: Chef/Cook minimum 2 years' experience
  
• Education: Cert III or higher depending on role. Without formal qualification, at least 3 years fulltime experience.
  
• Ability to commute/relocate: Albany, WA 6330: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  
• Work Authorisation: Australia (Preferred)
  
• Pay: $79423
  
• Work Days: Monday to Friday, Weekend availability
