Across the Waves Group Limited is seeking full-time Chefs and Cooks for their busy kitchens at venues across Queensland. The roles require relevant industry qualifications and 1–2 years of experience, with a 38-hour week, permanent full-time status and salary around $79k–$80k plus super.

Locations include The Waves Club Elliott Heads, The Waves Sports Club Norville, and The Waves Club Caloundra, with a focus on Modern Australian cuisine and high standards of presentation.

Qualifications

• Must display excellent prep, cooking and plating skills.
• Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes.
• Interest in growing food trends and techniques.
• Ability to contribute to menu planning, food cost estimation and food cost control.
• Work with the management team on food preparation and seasonal menu planning.
• Stock ordering and labour cost control.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and cook dishes to high standards in a busy kitchen.
• Assist with menu planning, costing and quantity estimates.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS compliance.
• Lead and train junior team members and supervise rostering.
• Ensure consistent presentation and timely service during peak periods.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with supply orders.
