Job summary

Cater Care Group is seeking a Chef to join our educational facility kitchen in Ipswich, QLD. This full-time role runs 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with one weekend shift earned back as Time in Lieu.

You will prepare meals for students and staff in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality, presentation, and service excellence. Ideally you hold a Commercial Cookery qualification and have experience in high-volume catering.

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

• A trade qualification in Commercial Cookery (or an equivalent certification)
• Proven background in a chef role, with preference given to education sector experience
• Demonstrated expertise in high-volume meal preparation and bulk catering
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and time-management capabilities alongside high attention to detail
• Proven capacity to perform effectively both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
