Job summary

Cater Care Group is seeking a Weekend Chef for an aged care facility in Wembley, Western Australia. You will prepare fresh meals, support busy kitchen operations and contribute to a high standard dining experience for residents.

The role features a weekend roster (Saturday and Sunday) at 15 hours per week, uniform provided, staff benefits and access to training and confidential support services. The ideal candidate holds a Trade Qualification in Commercial Cookery and kitchen experience with

Qualifications

• Trade qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a chef in a commercial kitchen.
• Aged care or volume catering experience is desirable.
• Solid knowledge of food safety, hygiene and dietary requirements.
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present fresh, high-quality meals for residents and staff.
• Support daily kitchen operations and bulk meal preparation.
• Assemble salads, sandwiches and cold dishes with consistency and care.
• Prepare texture-modified foods as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen.
• Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards.
