Edge Early Learning - Administrators Appointed in Morayfield is seeking a chef to plan nutritious meals for children aged 6 weeks to school age. You will develop menus using Feed Australia, accommodate allergies and cultural needs, and work with educators to integrate nutrition into learning.

You will maintain a safe, compliant kitchen, manage ordering and stock, minimise waste, and contribute to a positive mealtime culture across our centres.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or ACECQA-approved Early Childhood qualification.
• Current Working with Children Check and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate are required.
• Knowledge of early childhood nutrition, food safety and allergy management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks for children aged 6 weeks to school age.
• Develop menus using Feed Australia while accommodating allergies, cultural and dietary requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean and compliant kitchen environment.
• Manage ordering, stock control and minimise food waste.
• Partner with educators to make food and nutrition part of children's learning experiences.
