The role requires an Australian diploma or higher in the industry, 3+ years of experience, punctuality and teamwork. On-site opportunity to mentor staff and uphold strict food safety standards.

Mansioni

• Develop menus, estimate food and labour costs, and manage procurement of food supplies.
• Oversee and maintain quality of dishes throughout preparation and presentation.
• Liaise with managers, dietitians, kitchen and service staff to address preparation matters.
• Demonstrate cooking techniques and guide culinary procedures.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with established standards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in recruitment, selection and training of kitchen staff.
• Undertake food preservation processes, including freezing and storage.
