John Curtin Aged Care in Creswick seeks an experienced Chef Manager to lead our food services, delivering safe, nutritious, person-centred meals across the organisation. This hands-on leadership role values teamwork, quality improvement, innovation, and creating positive dining experiences that enhance resident wellbeing and satisfaction.

Formación

• Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery and relevant kitchen leadership experience.
• Current Food Safety Supervisor certification.
• 5+ years as a Chef Manager in aged care or healthcare settings.
• Experience managing large-scale food service operations.
• Knowledge of IDDSI framework and food safety legislation.
• Ability to plan diverse menus and lead teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead kitchen, café, and food service operations across the organisation.
• Ensure compliance with food safety legislation and infection control standards.
• Oversee food safety systems, audits, and continuous improvement.
• Support audit readiness, accreditation processes, and quality initiatives.
• Lead menu development with Clinical Manager and Dietician.
• Mentor Chefs, FSA, and Café staff; manage daily kitchen operations.
