Job summary

Journey Beyond at Monarto Safari Resort & Safari Lodge is seeking Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Kitchen Hands to deliver high-quality breakfast, lunch and dinner experiences across our properties. You will contribute to menu development, stock control, hygiene and HACCP compliance; enjoy a fast-paced team environment with early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

Successful candidates will join a group known for expansion and guest-focused experiences, with opportunities for progression

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with industry experience in fast-paced culinary environments.
• Professionalism and immaculate personal presentation in line with company culture.
• Strong understanding of food safety.
• Available early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of unique menus, ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction
• Maintaining levels of stock and inventory
• Hygiene, cleanliness and general safety of all staff working in food preparation areas
• Compliance with HACCP
