Job summary

Journey Beyond at Monarto Safari Resort & Safari Lodge is seeking Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Kitchen Hands to deliver high-quality breakfast, lunch and dinner experiences across our properties. You will contribute to menu development, stock control, hygiene and HACCP compliance; enjoy a fast-paced team environment with early mornings, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery with industry experience in fast-paced culinary environments.
• Professionalism and immaculate personal presentation in line with company culture.
• Strong understanding of food safety.

About the Role

We are seeking Chef de Parties, Commis Chefs and Kitchen Hands to join us at Monarto Safari Resort & Safari Lodge. You would be responsible for the high quality preparation and presentation of our culinary offerings across breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of unique menus, ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction;
• Maintaining levels of stock and inventory;
• Hygiene, cleanliness and general safety of all staff working in food preparation areas; and
• Compliance with HACCP
