Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our luxury team at their Sydney property. You will take ownership of your kitchen section and deliver exceptional dishes across In-Room Dining, Banquets, or MODE Kitchen & Bar, ensuring precision, consistency and guest satisfaction.

You will work with a talented culinary team in a fast-paced environment, maintaining high standards of food safety and presentation while supporting junior staff development and stock

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Chef de Partie or strong experience as a Demi Chef in a quality restaurant, hotel, or luxury hospitality environment.
• A passion for culinary excellence and creating memorable dining experiences.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation, kitchen operations, and food safety standards.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Relevant culinary qualifications and Food Safety knowledge are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with Four Seasons standards and recipes.
• Manage your designated kitchen section, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation.
• Support the training and development of Commis Chefs and junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising food waste.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to deliver exceptional guest experiences across all service periods.
