Job summary

Park Hyatt Sydney is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, delivering high-standards across a busy luxury operation. You will oversee a kitchen section, ensure dishes are prepared to brand standards, and maintain clean, efficient setups.

With a focus on cost control and mentoring junior cooks, you will work under the Executive Chef to uphold Hyatt's commitment to quality, consistency and guest satisfaction in a renowned waterfront property.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Chef apprenticeship completed.
• Good Hygiene knowledge.
• Experience in delivering skills training.
• Safe and accurate knife skills.
• Knowledge of multiple cooking methods.
• Minimum 1 year as Chef de Partie in hotel or restaurant with high standards.
• Previous leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a section of the kitchen and ensure performance meets Executive Chef standards.
• Ensure dishes from your section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes.
• Organise and set up the kitchen efficiently.
• Monitor food and operating costs and manage waste reduction.
• Supervise kitchen associates through hands-on management.
