Mount Duneed Estate in Geelong is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will work across restaurant service and major events, collaborating with Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver high-quality food in a busy, high-energy environment.

The role requires versatility for weddings, private functions and large-scale events, with a focus on organisation, speed and accuracy during peak periods. Weekend/evening shifts are common in our vibrant venue.

Formación

• Experience as Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
• Proven ability in fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environments.
• Experience delivering food across restaurant service and events.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork in a busy kitchen.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and cook high-quality food for restaurant service, weddings, functions and events.
• Maintain quality and presentation during busy service periods.
• Support kitchen team in large-scale events, weddings, private dinners and concerts.
• Own your designated section and keep it clean and service-ready.
• Communicate clearly with senior chefs and FOH staff.
• Assist with prep, service, plating and pack-down for restaurant and events.
• Collaborate with Head Chef and team to meet daily kitchen needs.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards.
