Job summary

Dreamworld, WhiteWater World and SkyPoint on the Gold Coast are seeking a Chef de Partie to join our dynamic Food & Beverage team. You will work alongside our Executive Chef to lead kitchen operations, develop menus and present dishes with flair across outlets and events.

We value hands-on cooks with a trade qualification in Commercial Cookery, a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate (or willingness to obtain), HACCP knowledge, and at least 2 years' experience in high-volume or premium dining

Qualifications

Trade qualification in Commercial Cookery is required.
Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or willingness to obtain is required.
At least 2 years' experience in a similar kitchen environment (events, high-volume, or premium dining).
Sound HACCP knowledge.
Strong communication skills and a team‑first attitude.
Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

Leading, coaching and inspiring kitchen team members to deliver great food and service.
Bringing fresh ideas to the table through menu development, seasonal activations and creative food presentation.
Maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and safety, including HACCP compliance.
Managing stock, reducing waste and finding smarter ways to work.
Supporting a positive, collaborative kitchen where everyone can thrive.
