Job summary

Rich River Golf Club in Echuca Moama, NSW, is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie to join our professional kitchen team. You’ll own your section, mentor junior staff and contribute to menu development for dining, conferences, weddings and large events.

You will work across grill, pans, larder, fryer and banquet service, ensuring recipes, portions and presentation meet high standards. Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is required, with strong food safety, teamwork and the ability to perform

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or Commis Chef ready to step up.
• Strong knowledge of contemporary cooking techniques.
• Experience across grill, pans, larder, fryer and banquet service.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexible roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead your kitchen section to ensure efficient service and quality.
• Prepare and present dishes to a high standard across dining and events.
• Adhere to recipes, portions, and presentation guidelines.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and WHS standards.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal offerings.
• Assist stock control, ordering, rotation, and minimise wastage.
• Train and mentor apprentices, cooks and kitchen attendants.
• Collaborate with the wider kitchen team during high-volume service and events.
• Support senior chefs in day-to-day operations.
