Club Whitsunday in the Whitsunday region of Queensland seeks a Chef de Partie to run a kitchen section and consistently deliver high-quality meals and perfectly grilled meats for the Bistro, functions and events. Working under the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, you will maintain food safety standards, ensure mise en place and portion control, and support training of apprentices and junior kitchen staff.

This hands-on role requires excellent organisation and the ability to perform in busy service

Qualifications

• Strong commercial cookery skills required.
• Demonstrated organisation and attention to detail during service.
• Ability to perform effectively during high-volume service.

Responsabilités

• Produce high-quality meals meeting standards for presentation, taste, portion size, food safety and service time.
• Support the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in maintaining an efficient, safe kitchen.
• Assist with training and development of apprentices, cooks and junior kitchen staff.
• Demonstrate ownership of your section, including mise en place, stock rotation and wastage control.
