Job summary

Workers Hubertus is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team in Luddenham, NSW. Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will manage your section, maintain high standards, and ensure food safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with cooks and kitchen hands to deliver quality meals for members and guests, work a Wednesday to Sunday roster (38 hours), and bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and teamwork to the role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar professional kitchen role.
• Strong food preparation, cooking and presentation skills.
• Sound understanding of food safety, hygiene and safe kitchen practices.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in accordance with menu specifications and presentation standards.
• Manage your designated kitchen section and ensure efficient service during busy trading periods.
• Maintain consistency in food quality, portion control and presentation.
• Assist with menu preparation, specials and new menu ideas.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise food wastage and assist with stock rotation and ordering.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented kitchen.
• Work collaboratively with the Sous Chef and kitchen team to achieve service and operational objectives.
• Assist with training and supporting junior kitchen team members where required.
