Job summary

Crowne Plaza Hawkesbury Valley, located in the Hawkesbury Valley near Sydney, seeks a passionate Full-Time Chef de Partie to support the kitchen team across Gazebo, Harvest, Barracks Bar, In-Room Dining and Conference & Events. The role partners with Head Chef to deliver premium experiences for complex events while maintaining brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations of Food & Beverage including Gazebo Restaurant, Harvest Restaurant, Barracks Bar, In-Room Dining and Conference & Events.
• Collaborate with Kitchen and F&B teams to deliver branded, high-quality experiences for events and conferences.
• Interpret Event Orders and apply HACCP procedures in daily service.

We are currently seeking a passionate and talented Full- Time Chef de Partie to join our dynamic Kitchen team.

About the Role

Working closely with our Head Chef, you will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of our Food & Beverage Operation including Gazebo Restaurant, Harvest Restaurant, Barracks Bar, In-Room Dining and Conference & Events.

This role will have a primary focus in the hotel's extensive Conference & Events operation and will partner with the Kitchen and Food & Beverage Team to deliver a unique, branded and high quality experience across a wide variety of events, conferences and social occasions

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• A formal Commercial Cookery Certification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a hotel or restaurant environment
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities
• Superior communication and ability to interpret Event Orders
• Knowledge of HACCP procedures
• High standard of personal presentation
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
