Alegre Bar and Dining in Barangaroo by the harbour seeks Chef de Partie (CDP) and commis chefs to join our team and showcase culinary expertise. Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Passionate about cooking and cuisine.
• Punctual, hard-working and eager to learn.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Mise-en-place preparation and freshness.
• Ensure stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
• Cook and service food according to restaurant standards.
• Train kitchen staff as directed by Chef-in-charge.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in kitchen and storage areas.
• Support high levels of kitchen team performance.
• Foster a harmonious environment among staff.

Brief Summary of Responsibilities& Skills Required:

• Mise‐en‐place preparation and freshness.
• Ensuring that all stocks are kept under optimum conditions.
• Cooking and service of food according to the restaurant’s quality and service standards .
• Training of kitchen staff as directed by Chef‐in‐charge.
• Safety and cleanliness of all duties across the kitchen and food storage areas.
• Ensuring high levels of kitchen team performance.
• Contributing to creating a harmonious environment amongst all staff within the restaurant.
