Job summary

Accor’s Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is hiring a Chef de Partie to lead kitchen operations at our 241-room Premium Hotel in Sydney. You will prepare, present and display menu items, while maintaining a clean, hygienic workspace and mentoring junior chefs.

You will have opportunities to work with the Executive and Sous Chefs on menu development. We value teamwork and the ability to work autonomously in a high-volume environment, with a commercial cookery qualification.

Qualifications

• Due to the high-volume nature of the role you will be adept at working under pressure in a high-volume environment.
• You will work well in a team environment as well as autonomously.
• You will have commercial cookery qualification, and will ideally have previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a Hotel environment or a high-volume venue.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Reporting to our Executive Chef & Sous Chef you will be responsible the preparation, presentation and display of all menu items. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment and equipment. As a leader in our Kitchen you will be expected to develop and coach our junior chefs, and provide them with learning opportunities and access to your experience and knowledge. As our Chef de Partie you will also have the opportunity to work alongside our Executive and Sous Chef on menu development and creation.

Qualifications
