Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our vibrant hotel kitchen. You will oversee the preparation, presentation and display of all menu items while maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.

You will lead, coach and develop junior chefs and collaborate with the Executive and Sous Chefs on menu development. The role requires experience in a high-volume hotel setting, a commercial cookery qualification, and the ability to thrive under pressure in Sydney’s bustling

Job Description

Reporting to our Executive Chef & Sous Chef you will be responsible the preparation, presentation and display of all menu items. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment and equipment. As a leader in our Kitchen you will be expected to develop and coach our junior chefs, and provide them with learning opportunities and access to your experience and knowledge. As our Chef de Partie you will also have the opportunity to work alongside our Executive and Sous Chef on menu development and creation.

Qualifications

Due to the high-volume nature of the role you will be adept at working under pressure in a high-volume environment. You will work well in a team environment as well as autonomously. You will have commercial cookery qualification, and will ideally have previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a Hotel environment or a high-volume venue.

For this position, we will consider only candidates with full Work Rights and living in Sydney at the moment of the application.
