Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. at Kirra Beach Resort on the Gold Coast is hiring a Food & Beverage All Rounder / Cook. You will work across kitchen and guest service, preparing meals to high standards and contributing to a welcoming dining experience for Owners and guests.

The role requires experience in hospitality, a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, knowledge of food safety, and a flexible roster including nights and weekends. RSA certification or willingness to obtain it is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Cook, Food & Beverage or hospitality all-rounder role.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or relevant trade qualification.
• Sound knowledge of food preparation, food safety and hygiene.
• Food & Beverage or customer service experience.
• RSA certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, cooking and presenting meals in accordance with established menus and quality standards.
• Supporting day-to-day kitchen operations and food preparation.
• Providing friendly and professional food and beverage service to Owners and guests.
• Taking orders and serving food and beverages.
• Assisting with restaurant set-up, clearing, cleaning and general service duties.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Following workplace health and safety, food safety and company policies and procedures.
• Working collaboratively with the wider resort team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
