RSL LifeCare Lyneham is seeking a qualified Chef to lead food operations in our Residential Aged Care facility. You will design menus, prepare nutritious meals, and manage special diets with HACCP-compliant practices, while overseeing supplies and cost control.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated compassion and empathy.
• Experience coordinating kitchen operations in busy environments.
• Experience in menu planning and catering to modified diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for resident experience.
• Knowledge of Food Handling Legislation including HACCP.

Responsabilités

• Lead all aspects of food operations including food safety, preparation and service.
• Preparation and service of meals ensuring nutritious and wholesome food and variety of food.
• Preparation of special diets and modified diets as required including low salt, diabetic, soft and pureed.
• Ordering and/or oversight of ordering of food supplies.
• Preparation and service of meals for functions.
• Maintain efficient cost control with regards to food preparation.
• Work in conjunction with the Manager to constantly refine and improve the food service standards.

Chef– Aged Care | Lyneham

We are currently seeking applications for a Chef to support our Residential Aged Care facility in Lyneham.

Location: Lyneham | Employment Type: Perm, Full-time | Salary: Offering a pay rate of $41.51per hour + penalties evenings, weekends & public holidays + 12% Super + Not-for-profit tax benefits - salary packaging of up to $15,900 per year

• Your ability to work efficiently and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Current knowledge of Food Handling Legislative including HACCP requirements
• Certificate 3 or 4 in Commercial Cookery as well as Food Safety Certification
