Basscare is seeking passionate Chefs to join our Hospitality team across Residential Aged Care and Meals on Wheels services. Permanent Full Time, Part Time and Casual opportunities available.

You will prepare nutritious meals, bring variety across cuisines, and uphold stringent food safety standards in a respectful aged care environment. Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience.
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Working rights in Australia.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum).
• Experience in Aged Care preferred (not essential).

Wages, Hours and Locations

• $33.13 per hour + Super + applicable Allowances + SalaryPackaging
• Canterbury, Ashburton and Glen Iris
• Monday to Sunday (rotating roster), Sunday availability isessential.
• 4 shifts per week 7am–3pm and one shift per week9:30am–5:30pm.
• Occasional cover for staff leave and special functionsrequired.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Minimum 2 years of commercial kitchen experience
• Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Working Rights in Australia
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (minimum)
• Experience in Aged Care preferred (not essential)
