Job summary

Bene Aged Care is seeking an experienced Cook to join the hospitality team at St Paul’s Residential Facility in Hahndorf. Reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager, you will prepare meals that meet nutritional and dietary needs, maintain food safety standards and contribute to menu development.

You will work in a supportive team, in a location that offers a stable career within the aged care sector and opportunities for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Recognised Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cook.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of aged care resident dietary requirements and nutrition.
• Desirable: experience in aged care or healthcare, knowledge of HACCP and Food Safety Standards, Italian language skills.

Responsibilities
